Forest Child
Forest Child is a small fairy. He never got a name from me, but was so fun to make. Everything he is wearing was handmade.
Somethings I had to makeup the pattern myself. His shirt and vest were pattern from the greatest website ever.

they have the best patterns and tutorials most are all free. I still go back there to get ideas even today.
After I came up with the idea of making a fairy, the rest of his outfit came together easy. He had a white shirt and brown pants.
Then I made him a leather vest, which also has the slots for his wings to slide into. His bow and quiver were my favorite item to
make. Handmade with clay, wood and leather. He was going to get a mask to make him look amazing, but the mask did not work.
I made it to fit his face, but it never look right. So after three attempts and month later I gave up on that part. His shoes were
the hardest to make. This kit had the tiniest feet. I had to knit three different pairs of booties till I got the size right. Green fantasy
film material made up his wings. After sewing all the wing channels I threading wire through them, so his wigs could be bent a little.
Red glitter paint and green beads were also added. His hand-made quilt was so much fun to make. Greens and forest was the theme. It was
the first time I had my embroidery machine work right and that is the owl in the tree in the middle.
3/4 length vinyl legs full length vinyl arms, and cloth body. I wanted him to have different hair from all the other dolls. I decided to
make him have white mohair with a green mohawk. He had 14mm green hazel eye. I loved the color of these eyes.

The wing would slide into slots in the back of the vest. If he decided he did not want to wear his wing they could be slide out. I have been trying to make a better way to have make fairy wings fit more “authentic”. The only way I have come up with is similar to this vest idea, but the slots inside the vest and under the shirt or dress that the fairy wears.

These images are really old. Some these the only ones I can find of each doll on my computer. (Also they were taken before I knew how to use my camera)
